Welcome to our CONSERFEST 2020 Virtual Summer Event! Due to Shelter-In-Place constrictions, we may be stuck inside, but celebrating and supporting music, art, education and the environment has never been more essential. Our first virtual event was such an unexpected success, making the celebration accessible to everyone around the world! We are continuing to make the event available to you right here or you may access at any time on our ConserFest youtube.com channel.
Since our inception in 2007, we have worked hard to offer a FREE event for all-ages that gives the masses the opportunity to come together under one banner and stand up for environmental conservation and preservation through the celebration of music and art. In the way that musicians (local, regional, national and international) have given of their time and talent to support ConserFest for nearly thirteen years every summer, this year videos have been submitted from far and wide. We have assembled one of our best Artist Line-Ups yet. Without the dedication of our musicians, local partners, and volunteers, ConserFest would not be able to happen. Thank you for your attendance and for your support of ConserFest since 2007. Any support for ConserFest, is a win for environmental conservation and education on Block Island.

HOW TO WATCH
For your viewing convenience, the CF 2020 event is in a YouTube Playlist format. That means that if you are familiar with a YouTube video, you are good to go!

NAVIGATING: Watch at your own pace: Feel free to pause, play, and skip back and forth between event videos at any time.
WATCHING ON MOBILE: If you watch on your mobile device, GREAT! While watching, if you don’t see how to open the Playlist panel or can’t track to the next video, just drag at the bottom of the video to the end and the next one will start. Easy peasy!

B.I. HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Each year, the ConserFest Board of Directors elects a member from the Block Island community who has made a significant contribution over time to cultivating environmental awareness and promoting conservation efforts. The scholarship is dedicated in honor of the individual and their service and commitment. The ConserFest “Embrace Your Place” Scholarship helps fund educational opportunities for applicants that foster a life-long love of learning, particularly through the lens of conservation and environmental science. The scholarship is awarded to the recipients every Spring, during the Block Island School commencement ceremony. #cfscholarship
MARY D FUND
A local fundraising effort on Block Island for decades, the Mary D Fund helps residents on Block Island who are finding it difficult to pay for necessities such as food, shelter, utilities, and medical care. Mary Donnelly, the state nurse, uses funds provided by individual donations and fund-raising activities, such as the annual Mary D Ball, and pays the provider of the required item(s).
ConserFest is honored to partner with the Mary D Fund to help promote its cause and to do what we can to offer further support to island residents in need, most especially during this difficult time of Covid-19. #marydfund
ARTIST RELIEF FUND
ConserFest Artists Relief Fund”: ConserFest has established a relief fund to support artists in the ConserFest community whose livelihood has especially been impacted by the COVID-19 health crisis. Without the contributions and commitment of so many musicians and other artists over the last 13 years, we would not have been able to be who we are and do what we do. ConserFest has developed this fund in order to recognize that contribution and give back to these amazing artists. Donate today to support the CF Artists Relief Fund. Donations go supporting Rhode Island and New England's best musicians who gave of themselves and their art to support environmental conservation on Block Island. #artistfundcf
